The US and Israel started the operation against Iran of their own volition; there was no need for military operations.
elchi reports that Finnish President Alexander Stubb stated this in an interview with the “EUObserver” portal.
“I think there was no need for this war. It started by the will of the United States and Israel, and no one consulted with Europe beforehand,” he declared.
The politician added that Finland is now “trying to help.” The country has joined the coalition to ensure security in the Strait of Hormuz, which was created at the initiative of France and Great Britain and unites about 50 countries.
“As soon as the war is over, I am sure that we will do everything in our power to ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz for the Americans,” Stubb noted.
