The Azerbaijani media must be a promoter of peace in the world.
“Elchi” reports that Deputy Executive Director of the Media Development Agency Natiq Mammadli stated this at a roundtable discussion organized by the Agency on the topic “President Ilham Aliyev’s peace strategy is a guarantor of stability.”
According to him, the processes taking place in the world show that the most needed issue for the entire world is peace and prosperous living:
“President Ilham Aliyev met with residents in Zangilan and once again sent a message of peace to the whole world from there. The President rightly noted that Azerbaijan is the author of peace in the region. The media and the people attach great importance to the President’s call for peace. Azerbaijan is a state that creates a model of peace in the world.”
N. Mammadli emphasized that the media also has a great responsibility in peace initiatives:
“The Azerbaijani media must be a promoter of peace in the world. This task resonates with all principles of media ethics.”
