The Hajj Mission’s management board is already in the city of Mecca.
elchi reports that Vusal Jahangiri, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) and head of the Hajj electronic system, informed Trend in response to their inquiry regarding this matter.
According to him, there are no problems with the organization of flights:
“The Hajj Mission’s management board is already in the city of Mecca. They are working to ensure that all conditions in the hotels are fully prepared for the pilgrims who will arrive in a few days. Flights are fully ready, tickets have already been purchased, and everything is in order. The first flight will be organized early Sunday morning.”
It should be noted that this year, the quota of 1,500 spots for the Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan has been filled. The first flight for the Hajj pilgrimage will be organized on May 17. That group of pilgrims will consist of 180 people. The price of the Hajj pilgrimage for this year is 6,100 US dollars, which is 10,388 AZN.
