A tobacco products production project will be implemented by a new resident of the “Araz Valley Economic Zone” Industrial Park.

According to the information, “Baku International Tobacco” LLC has been granted the status of a resident of the “Araz Valley Economic Zone” Industrial Park, which is managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy.
It is stated that the new resident plans to implement a project for the production of tobacco products in the territory of the industrial park. Within the framework of the project, which has an investment value of 47 million manats, it is planned to export the products to be produced, in addition to selling them in the domestic market.
It should be noted that 20 business entities have been granted resident status and 3 entrepreneurs have been granted non-resident status in the “Araz Valley Economic Zone” Industrial Park. So far, more than 48.3 million manats have been invested by entrepreneurs in projects implemented in the industrial park, and more than 130 jobs have been created.
