The scope of operational vehicles has been expanded.
According to “Elchi”, this is reflected in the amendment to the Law “On Road Traffic” approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the law, vehicles belonging to prosecution authorities and equipped with forensic equipment are included in the category of operational vehicles.
It was noted that there is a necessity for these vehicles to have the same legal status as other operational services to ensure rapid arrival at the scene, performance of urgent procedural actions, and implementation of operational-search measures. Granting these vehicles the right to use special light and sound signals will ensure their priority in road traffic and serve to more reliably protect public safety.
