The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that the entry and exit of 73 tanker ships to Iranian ports have been blocked.
“Elchi” reports that a statement regarding the recent situation in Iran was released from CENTCOM’s account on the US-based “X” social media platform.
In the statement, it was reported that the US has blocked the entry and exit of 73 tanker ships to Iranian ports. It was noted that those commercial vessels have the capacity to carry more than 166 million barrels of Iranian oil, with an estimated value of over 13 billion dollars.
The statement also highlighted that the routes of more than 50 ships have been diverted.
