Intermittent rain is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on the morning and afternoon of May 8.
This was reported to elchi by the National Hydrometeorological Service.
It was stated that there is a possibility that the rain will intensify for a short time in some parts of the peninsula.
Unstable weather conditions with intermittent precipitation are expected in the regions of Azerbaijan during the last days of the first ten days of May. Thus, rainy weather is expected to continue in some regions on the 8th, and mainly during the daytime in mountainous and foothill regions on the 9th-10th. There is a possibility of intensive precipitation, lightning, hail in some places, snow in mountainous regions, and a slight increase in precipitation in some places on the 8th.
Due to the precipitation, an increase in water levels in rivers is expected, and short-term floods in some mountain rivers are not excluded.
