Iran is reviewing the US proposal to end the war

Iran announced that it is “still reviewing” the US proposal to end the war, following reports that the two sides could be nearing an agreement.
elchi reports that the US-based news site Axios stated on Wednesday that the White House is close to signing a 14-point memorandum of understanding with Iran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei confirmed that the US proposal is being examined and that they will share their views through Pakistani intermediaries.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister stated that his country is “making efforts” to turn this ceasefire into a lasting peace.
US President Donald Trump also stated that “very good talks” have been held with Iran over the last 24 hours and that an agreement is possible.
What is included in the 14-point draft?
According to Axios, the one-page memorandum of understanding could provide a framework for more detailed nuclear negotiations.
Some of the points included in the draft are:
Iran halting its nuclear enrichment activities.
The lifting of US sanctions and the release of frozen funds.
The restoration of free passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
However, it is reported that many of these conditions depend on reaching a final agreement.
