The preliminary draft agreement on halting the conflict between the US and Iran includes provisions regarding the enrichment of uranium in the Islamic Republic and the unfreezing of the country’s assets.
elchi reports that Saudi Arabia’s “Al Arabiya” television channel has provided this information, citing Pakistani sources.
“The draft agreement includes clauses regarding enriched uranium and the unblocking of Iran’s frozen assets,” one of the channel’s interlocutors stated. However, they did not disclose details on whether Iran would be able to continue enriching uranium on its territory in the event of an agreement with the US.
Furthermore, the source noted that during the contacts, “the Iranian side confirmed that it has no desire to possess nuclear weapons, and Washington welcomed this.”
