The US is preparing to withdraw a portion of its troops from Germany: the move concerns a mechanized brigade stationed at a base near the city of Vilseck.
elchi reports, citing its sources, that the newspaper “Bild” has published information regarding this matter.
The publication notes that the brigade in question is equipped with “Stryker” armored vehicles. Out of the approximately 40,000 US military personnel stationed in Germany, 26,000 are deployed in Vilseck and the nearby town of Grafenwöhr. This location houses the largest American training ground outside the borders of the United States.
