A major fire has broken out at an oil industry facility in the Emirate of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), following a drone attack.
“Elchi” reports, citing “Al Jazeera”, that this was announced by the region’s media office.
According to officials, the blaze erupted in the oil infrastructure area. Firefighters and emergency services are working at the scene, and the causes and scale of the damage are being determined.
Earlier, the UAE Ministry of Defense also reported the launch of four cruise missiles by Iran. “Three of them were successfully intercepted over the country’s territorial waters, and one fell into the sea,” the agency noted.
