Centralized exams will be held in these schools

Starting from this year, centralized final exams will be held for the first time in art schools and centers operating under the Ministry of Culture.

This was reported to elchi by the Ministry of Culture.

It is noted that the new mechanism envisages the application of a unified assessment approach in all relevant educational institutions in Azerbaijan.

The goal is to measure students’ knowledge and skills based on the same criteria, increase the objectivity of the results, and make it possible to compare the indicators obtained across different schools.

About 8,600 students are expected to participate in the centralized exams. The results will not be limited to determining final indicators; they will also play a key role in analyzing the quality of education, assessing the current situation, and determining future development directions.

The exams will be organized taking into account the specific features of the specialties. Both the theoretical preparation and practical skills of the students will be checked in a unified and transparent manner.

This innovation serves to raise quality standards in art education and to build the assessment system on more modern and effective foundations.
