Weed control measures are being carried out on railway tracks

In order to ensure the safety of railway lines, measures against vegetation are being continued in the right-of-way strips.

According to the information provided to elchi by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), special herbicide agents are being applied against weeds, which pose a particular risk to fire and traffic safety.

It was stated that work in this direction is carried out on a regular basis, and the chemical agents used are applied in accordance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.
