In May, there will be 5 consecutive non-working days due to Eid al-Adha and Independence Day.
“Elchi” reports that, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 2, 2025, Eid al-Adha falls on May 27 and 28 this year.
Independence Day (May 28) is considered a non-working day. According to the Labor Code, if Eid al-Adha coincides with another non-working holiday, the next working day is considered a day off.
Since Eid al-Adha coincides with Independence Day this year, the following day, May 29, will be a day off.
At the same time, this year May 30 falls on a Saturday and May 31 on a Sunday.
Thus, there will be no work for 5 consecutive days: May 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31.
