The UK’s security services have raised the country’s terror threat level from the fourth of five possible levels – “substantial” – to “severe”.
According to “Elchi”, this was stated in a report by the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre.
According to the statement, all forms of terrorism in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland are considered severe.
The decision to raise the threat level was made following an antisemitic attack in north London on April 29, which authorities have classified as a terrorist act.
