The working visit of the delegation led by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev to the Kingdom of Morocco has concluded.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the delegation led by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, who paid an official working visit to Rabat at the invitation of his Moroccan counterpart Hicham El Blaoui, visited the Mausoleum of His Majesty King Mohammed V.
A meeting was held between the delegation and Mohammad Abdenabaoui, First President of the Court of Cassation and Vice-President of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power of the Kingdom of Morocco, where the importance of expanding mutually beneficial and effective cooperation between the legal systems of the two countries was emphasized.
During a bilateral meeting with the Moroccan Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, the parties expressed their satisfaction with the pace of development of relations between the law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan and Morocco and exchanged views on further deepening the legal framework for cooperation between the institutions.
The delegation led by the Prosecutor General visited the headquarters of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), met with the organization’s Director-General, Dr. Salim Al Malik, and also visited the museum located at the headquarters dedicated to the life of the Prophet Muhammad.
Within the framework of the visit, the Prosecutor General also gave interviews to local television and media outlets of the Kingdom of Morocco. He noted that visits of this nature are of particular importance in terms of sharing experience to identify common challenges in the fight against crime and to develop appropriate effective response measures.
In addition, relevant discussions were held regarding the holding of joint international events, and it was decided to mutually support the initiatives put forward.
