In a meeting with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed the attacks by the USA and Israel on the Islamic Republic.

“During the conversation, the ICRC President was informed about the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran,” the statement said.
Araghchi stated that the attacks were not limited to military targets: “I specifically informed M. Spoljaric about the attacks on schools, universities, educational and research centers, historical and cultural sites, hospitals, vital and production infrastructure, as well as residential areas.”
During the meeting, the ICRC President expressed deep regret over the death of Iranian citizens in the recent war and the targeting of civilian objects, especially schools, hospitals, and residential areas.
