Tokyo-based Japanese company Terra Drone has announced the signing of a second investment agreement with a Ukrainian combat unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developer.
elchi reports that at the end of March, “Terra Drone” announced that it had signed an agreement with another Ukrainian combat drone manufacturer. In this regard, Japan’s ambassador to Moscow, Akira Muto, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, and a protest was lodged with the Japanese diplomat.
As noted by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, the head of the Japanese diplomatic mission was informed that the systematic criminal provocations committed by the Kyiv regime against civilian objects and civilians in Russian territory using unmanned aerial vehicles give grounds to consider that “such a step (the investment agreement) is clearly hostile in nature and harms Russia’s security interests.”
According to the Foreign Ministry official, the ambassador’s attention was drawn to the fact that “if the Japanese side is truly interested in restoring interstate dialogue, it must demonstrate this desire not in words, but through concrete and practical actions.”
