“Transitioning to distance education based on the safety factor is not considered a correct approach.”
“Elchi” reports that Eşqi Bağırov, director of the State Agency for Preschool and General Education (MÜTDA) under the Ministry of Science and Education, stated this during a media briefing.
“Schools are for students, and they should receive their education specifically at school.”
E. Bağırov noted that in certain cases, particularly in remote settlements where teacher availability is limited or there are insufficient opportunities for organizing quality instruction, decisions regarding distance education may be made:
“However, today, transitioning to distance education solely for the reason of student safety is evaluated more as a subjective approach.”/milliaz
