There will be 14 non-working days in May

According to the 2026 production calendar, the number of non-working days in Azerbaijan in May will be higher compared to other months.

“Elchi” reports that due to May 9 (Victory Day over Fascism) falling on a Saturday, May 11 (Monday) will also be declared a non-working day in accordance with the Labor Code. Thus, May 9, 10, and 11 will be consecutive days off.

At the same time, as in March, two holidays in May – Eid al-Adha (May 27-28) and Independence Day (May 28) fall on the same period. For this reason, May 29 will also be considered a non-working day. Thus, in addition to May 27, 28, and 29, May 30 and 31 (weekend) will also be days off.

As a result, there will be a total of 14 non-working days in May, including weekends. The next working day will begin on June 1.
