Axios: Iran has proposed to the US to discuss the uranium issue after the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
elchi reports that Iran has proposed a deal to the US that involves opening the Strait of Hormuz and postponing nuclear talks to a later date. This was reported by Axios, citing a US official and two other informed sources.
Previously, the Al Mayadeen television channel reported that Iran had conveyed a three-stage negotiation formula to the US through intermediaries.
According to Axios, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed Tehran’s proposal to Washington with his Pakistani counterparts.
A source told the portal that the Iranian Foreign Minister informed intermediaries from Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar that Tehran had not yet reached a final conclusion regarding the US demands to stop uranium enrichment and remove it from the country.
Axios notes that it is currently difficult to say whether the US is prepared to consider Iran’s proposal.
