In January-March of this year, Azerbaijan imported 12,299 tons of meat.
According to the statistics published by the State Customs Committee, the value of this volume of meat amounted to 28 million 630 thousand US dollars. Compared to the same period last year, this is an increase of 410 tons (3.4%) in terms of volume and 3 million 805 thousand dollars (15.3%) in terms of value.

Live animals (for slaughter): Georgia, Russia, Belarus, and Hungary;
Processed meat products (sausages, frankfurters, etc.): Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Turkey.
