Document submission for the position of Director General of ITV has begun

The Audiovisual Council announces the acceptance of documents for candidates to be elected to the position of Director General of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company in connection with the expiration of the term of office of the current Director General.

“Elchi” reports that the Audiovisual Council has released information regarding this matter.

It is stated that candidates wishing to hold the position of Director General of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company must submit their documents to the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan (address: 315 A.M. Sharifzade Street, Baku) from 9:00 AM on April 27, 2026, to 6:00 PM on May 8, 2026.

Requirements for the candidate:

The candidate must be a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The candidate must have a higher education.

A person who has previously been convicted of grave or especially grave crimes, as well as crimes against public morality, or whose conviction has not been cleared, cannot be a candidate.

A person whose incapacity has been confirmed by a court cannot be a candidate.

Documents to be submitted:

Application

Copy of identity card

Copy of labor record book

Personnel personal record sheet (with photo)

Notarized copy of the document (diploma) on higher education

The mentioned documents must be submitted in 2 copies.

It should be noted that the Broadcasting Council of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company elects the Director General of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company from among the candidates who have submitted their documents by means of a vote.
