A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population with Berlian Helmi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to our country.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev, stating that relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia are developing on the basis of friendship and mutual respect, noted that there are good opportunities for expanding cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection.
It was emphasized that the work carried out in accordance with the cooperation document signed between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Ministry of Manpower of Indonesia in December 2022 makes an important contribution to strengthening ties between the Ministries.
The important role of the Labor Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, headquartered in Baku, in the development of cooperation in the field of labor and social protection among the member countries of the Organization was highlighted. The ambassador was informed about the social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years, the DOST concept, and the digital achievements attained in the social sphere.
Berlian Helmi stated that the embassy will make efforts to develop bilateral cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection, as in other areas.
Issues of future cooperation in the mentioned fields were discussed at the meeting.
