Repair work on a section of the “Druzhba” oil pipeline has been completed.
“Elchi” reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote about this on social media.
“Ukraine has completed repairs on a section of the “Druzhba” oil pipeline that was damaged as a result of a Russian strike. The oil pipeline can resume operations. Although no one can guarantee that strikes on infrastructure will not be repeated, specialists have ensured the basic conditions for the restoration of the system’s operation,” the post stated.
He also noted that a meeting in the “Ramstein” format is being prepared for this week, and within this framework, it is planned to accelerate the attraction of necessary funding for restoration work, as well as for strengthening the protection of energy infrastructure facilities.
Zelensky also emphasized that Ukraine hopes for the unblocking of the support package previously approved by the Council of Europe.
