The Aran Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a civil defense lesson on the topic “Organization of protection of the population during emergency situations” for the teaching staff and students at the Mingachevir Medical College, as well as civil defense exercises on the topic “Organization of management of civil defense bodies and forces during the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations” at the Yevlax City Secondary School No. 2 named after M.A. Sabir and the “Goychay District Central Hospital” Public Legal Entity.

The purpose of conducting the lesson and exercises was to improve the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of citizens regarding behavioral rules during emergency situations, increase their knowledge in the field of civil defense, take preventive measures to prevent emergency situations, ensure that management staff perform their functional duties at the required level in this area, and increase organizational skills and operational efficiency.
During the events, the activities of the personnel of the enterprises regarding notification about an emergency situation, mobilization by a warning signal, marching to the assembly point, and organization of assembly and management were checked; the evacuation of collectives, “provision of first aid to victims,” and other operations were carried out, and reports on functional duties were heard.
After the successful events, the results were analyzed, and relevant instructions were given.
