Iran does not trust the US government.
“Elchi” reports that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wrote this on his “X” social media account.
“Adherence to commitments is the logic that justifies any dialogue,” he stated, adding that in addition to the deep-rooted historical distrust in Iran toward the previous actions of the US government, the non-constructive and contradictory approach of American officials in recent days carries a bitter message:
“They demand Iran’s surrender, while the Iranian people do not bow to pressure.”
