Samples were taken from 4.9 tons of frozen chicken products imported from Ukraine (with production and expiration dates of 16.02.2026-16.02.2028), and non-compliance was detected.
elchi reports that the Food Safety Agency has released information regarding this matter.
It was stated that the product was produced by “Lutsk Agricultural Company LLC” and imported from Ukraine by “Ladess Group” LLC.
“As a result of laboratory tests, “salmonella” was detected in the product.
Appropriate measures have been taken in connection with the detected non-compliance, and an appeal has been sent to the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection to suspend exports from the manufacturing enterprise,” the statement noted.
