Lukashenko: The North Korean leader is a tough guy who does not interfere in anyone’s life.
elchi reports that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is a “tough guy” who does not interfere in anyone’s life. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated this in an interview with RT.
“Kim is in North Korea. You have demonized him. He is a wonderful, intelligent, and educated person. He fights for his own interests. For the interests of his country. He does not interfere in anyone’s life. It is you who are trying to destroy him. He is a tough guy trying to protect himself,” he said.
According to Lukashenko, the North Korean leader is ready to build good, friendly relations with him.
At the end of March, Lukashenko and Kim Jong Un held official talks in Pyongyang, after which they announced the beginning of a new stage in relations between the two countries. The leaders also signed a treaty on friendship and cooperation between Belarus and North Korea and exchanged gifts. Lukashenko gifted Kim Jong Un an automatic rifle and rewarded him with Belarusian products – presidential chocolate, marshmallows, and black bread. In return, the North Korean leader gifted him a sword, a large vase in traditional Korean style, and a souvenir gold coin specially prepared for his visit.
