A practical-educational event was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, organized by the Main Department for Organization of Work with Regional Centers, Project Management, and Education.

The event was attended by the Head of the Academy, Major-General Baba Salayev, Commander of the Civil Defense Troops, Lieutenant-General Ilham Abdullayev, Deputy Head of the Main Department for Organization of Work with Regional Centers, Project Management, and Education of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Gunduz Hamzayev, as well as staff of the Main Department and cadets.
Opening the event with introductory remarks, the Head of the Academy, Major-General Baba Salayev, noted the important role such events play in the comprehensive training of cadets. He stated that in the modern era, the preparation of professional personnel with high knowledge and skills is of particular importance in combating emergency situations. In this regard, aligning theoretical knowledge with practical experience is one of the main priorities of the educational process.
The Head of the Academy emphasized that such educational and practical events serve to better prepare cadets for real service conditions and help form their ability to make operational decisions, react flexibly, and develop a sense of responsibility. He also noted that close acquaintance with the activities of the Civil Defense Troops allows cadets to more accurately determine their future service directions.
Subsequently, Lieutenant-General Ilham Abdullayev provided detailed information about the activities, duties, and functions of the Civil Defense Troops, military discipline rules, and the principles of conduct for personnel. He also discussed the measures implemented in the field of civil defense, the achievements made, and the work carried out to prevent emergency situations.
Azadi Guliyev, Head of Department at the Main Department for Organization of Work with Regional Centers, Project Management, and Education of the MES, also spoke at the event, emphasizing the important role of practical experience in the educational process.
During the event, which was held in an interactive format, the cadets demonstrated active participation, and their questions were answered in detail.
