The strikes launched by Israel on Lebanon since March 2 have resulted in the deaths of at least 2,294 people.
“Elchi” reports, citing “Al Arabiya”, that this was announced by the Lebanese Ministry of Health on the first day of the ceasefire in the war with Israel.
According to preliminary data, 274 women, 177 children, as well as 100 medical workers and rescuers have died as a result of Israeli strikes.
“The final number of victims will be calculated after the debris is cleared, the remains of the deceased are found, DNA tests are conducted, and identities are established,” the ministry emphasized.
It should be recalled that US President Donald Trump stated on April 16 that Israel and Lebanon had agreed to implement a 10-day ceasefire starting at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (01:00 AM Baku time on April 17).
