In order to increase passenger satisfaction and ensure transport accessibility in the regions, the Kurdamir railway station will be opened for passenger use starting from April 18, 2026.
According to the information provided to elchi by “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC, trains operating on the Baku–Gazakh–Baku, Baku–Balakan–Baku, Baku–Agdam–Baku routes, as well as the Baku–Agstafa–Baku routes scheduled for weekends and holidays, will stop at the Kurdamir station.
According to the information, ticket sales have been underway since April 17.
It should be noted that a symbolic train departed from the Baku Railway Station to the Kurdamir station today.
