A rockfall has been recorded in the Ordubad district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
As a result of heavy rains, rock fragments fell onto the central part of the 24th kilometer of the Pazmari village road.
During the incident, large rock fragments collapsed onto the roadway, resulting in restricted traffic on a certain section of the road. According to preliminary information, the rock fragments also damaged the gas pipeline.
Personnel from the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Nakhchivan were immediately dispatched to the area. Currently, the rock fragments are being broken up and cleared from the site.
