Non-working days for May ANNOUNCED

The non-working days for May 2026 have been announced. According to the calendar, a number of rest days are scheduled throughout the month due to both weekends and official holidays.

“Elchi” reports that for those working a 5-day work week, May 2, 16, 23, and 30 are non-working days as they fall on Saturdays. Sundays, May 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31, are also traditionally rest days.

May 9 – Victory Day over fascism is considered a non-working day. Since this date falls on a Saturday, May 11 has been designated as an additional rest day.

At the end of May, consecutive holidays will be celebrated. May 27 is Eid al-Adha, and May 28 coincides with both Independence Day and Eid al-Adha. In this regard, May 29 has been designated as a non-working day, and the workday has been rescheduled.
