A person suspected of stealing a mobile phone worth 2,900 manats from an electronics store in the Yasamal district of Baku has been detained.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was stated that 36-year-old O. Burciyev, suspected of committing the act, was detained as a result of measures taken by police officers.
Investigations revealed that he committed the act by taking advantage of the seller being distracted. It was also discovered that the detained person had stolen gold jewelry worth 750 manats from a store in the Nasimi district.
Investigations are ongoing.
