The medium-term budget framework for 2027-2030 has been announced in Azerbaijan.
“Elchi” reports this with reference to the Ministry of Finance.
It is noted that the medium-term budget framework was prepared in accordance with the “Rules for the preparation of the medium-term expenditure framework” approved by Decree No. 235 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 24, 2018, and the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 71s dated January 30, 2026, “On the preparation of the draft state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027”.
The document contains information on the main directions and targets of budget policy, the macro-fiscal framework, national expenditure priorities, the medium-term resource envelope, forecasts of revenues and expenditures of the consolidated budget and the state budget, as well as the upper limits of funds allocated from the state budget for the implementation of programs envisaged for sectors involved in budget reforms.
