The 9th meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia was held in Shusha
The Western bureau of Teleqraf reports that at the end of the meeting, the final protocol of the 9th meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific-technical, and cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia was approved.
The document provides for the further development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in areas such as increasing trade turnover, investment, agriculture, food security, transport, science, education, labor, employment and social protection of the population, urban planning and construction, environmental protection and forestry, tourism, culture, and other areas of mutual interest. The final protocol also reflects the intention to further improve the legal and regulatory framework of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The parties agreed to hold the 10th meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia in Riga next year.
