“Mines in Azerbaijan continue to cause loss of human life. On April 14, an employee of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) was killed after stepping on an anti-tank mine in the Ashagi Abdurrahmanli village of the Fuzuli district.”

“Since the 2020 war, 422 Azerbaijani citizens have become mine victims to date. There is an urgent need to increase international support for the expansion of mine clearance operations,” the statement emphasized.
