Zelensky: This spring and summer will not be easy from a political and diplomatic perspective

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the US will try to conclude negotiations to end the Russia-Ukraine war by September, adding that spring and summer will not be easy for them from a political and diplomatic perspective.
“Elchi” reports that Zelensky shared on his social media account that he met with journalists at his office in Kyiv and answered questions regarding current issues.
Recalling that the US, Ukraine, and Russia previously held trilateral negotiations to end the Russia-Ukraine war, Zelensky noted that such negotiations must continue.
Zelensky stated that if Russia chooses the path of de-escalation, a trilateral meeting will take place, which could occur in April, May, or June.
Claiming that the US will try to conclude these negotiations aimed at resolving the crisis before the midterm elections, Zelensky said, “I think it will be very difficult for us until September. I think the Americans will not give anyone more time for this dialogue. This spring and summer will not be easy from a political and diplomatic perspective. There may be pressure on Ukraine. There will also be pressure on the battlefield.”
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine will continue to work while protecting its national interests and security, adding: “It is important to put enough pressure on Russia in this process. For example, allies can hold an unprecedented, historic, revolutionary, and in a sense, victorious NATO summit this year.”
