The foreign ministers of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania firmly reject Russia’s disinformation campaign regarding their alleged consent to open their airspace for the passage of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
“Elchi” reports that this was stated in a joint declaration by the ministers published on the website of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement emphasized that these claims are completely baseless.
“The Baltic states have never authorized the use of their territory and airspace for drone attacks on targets in Russia,” the statement said.
It was noted that the Baltic states have officially refuted these accusations and have clearly informed the charges d’affaires of Russia’s diplomatic missions in Tallinn (March 27), Riga (March 31), and Vilnius (March 27) about this.
