30 alder trees cut down in Oguz, suspect detained

The police have launched a criminal case regarding the cutting down of 30 alder trees in the Oguz district.

“Elchi” reports, citing the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), that an investigation is underway regarding the cutting of 30 alder trees in the territory of Khachmazgishlag village of Oguz district, which caused approximately 6,400 manats in material damage to nature.

As a result of the measures taken by police officers, 34-year-old Jasur Mammadli, suspected of cutting down the trees, has been detained.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Oguz District Police Department under the relevant article of the Criminal Code, and investigations are ongoing.
