Culinary technologist Mubariz Valiyev spoke about the dangers of sausages and frankfurters.

He stated that the substances found in sausages sold in markets cause blood pressure problems in people:
“It is written on them that they contain beef and chicken parts. By ‘chicken parts,’ it refers to chicken skin, cartilage, and other unused parts. Stabilizers: E-450, acidity regulator E-330. Many sausages contain, mainly, soy, starch, skin waste, E-250, sodium nitrite, and flavor enhancers. The main reason why we and our children crave them is the code contained within: E-621. This creates addiction in people. It also helps in creating flavor and keeping the product for a long time. This flavor also causes headaches and weakness. It affects brain activity. It also causes the development of high blood pressure.”
Mubariz Valiyev claims that the sausages currently sold in markets in Azerbaijan cause cancer:
“The E-250 substance it contains is sodium nitrite. It colors the product and stops the growth of bacteria. This increases the risk of cancer. It turns into a carcinogen called ‘nitrosamine’. Also, chicken skin, beef fat, palm oil, flavoring soy, starches, bone meal, etc., are added to the sausages. By doing this, manufacturers both protect their budgets and poison people.”/yenisabah
