The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been working continuously throughout the night and the day to eliminate the consequences caused by heavy rains.

Currently, appropriate safety measures, including water pumping operations, are being carried out in the Khazar, Nizami, Garadagh, Sabunchu, Surakhani, Binagadi, and Sabail districts of Baku, as well as in the city of Sumgayit and the Absheron, Khizi, and Khachmaz regions.
It should be noted that the measures to eliminate the consequences are being carried out by the forces of the MES Civil Defense Troops, the State Fire Protection Service, the Special Risky Rescue Service, and the North Regional Center.
