It is expected that the passing scores for university entrance exams will decrease this year. Experts base this opinion on the results students achieved in the graduation exams.
elchi reports, citing milliaz, that according to education expert Ramin Nurəliyev, passing scores are expected to drop in the 3rd and 4th groups due to the difficulty of the mathematics subject in the exams:
“If the questions in the entrance exam are also difficult, a drop in scores is inevitable. Conversely, if the questions are easy, the scores will rise. Of course, it is difficult to say for sure right now. This is because there will be first and second attempts at the block exams. If the questions are at the same level as last year’s exam, a drop in scores is expected.”
The expert notes that if there is a significant drop in scores, the competition conditions are also expected to be intense. It is difficult to say anything precise because the exact number of applicants who will pass the competition is not yet known.
