Within the framework of the digitalization of public services in Azerbaijan, a new stage has been defined regarding the issuance and replacement of identity cards and general civil passports.
elchi reports that it is planned to carry out the mentioned services through the Electronic Government Information System (EGIS).
Thus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, must determine the possible stages of digitalization of services by June 1, and prepare and submit a conceptual document in this direction to the relevant authorities.
Also, by July 1, the digitalization of the mentioned services in accordance with the conceptual document will be ensured.
In addition, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, must ensure the launch of the services through the “mygov” platform by September 15. (milli.az)
