White House: Iran has submitted a plan to the US that serves as a basis for a possible agreement

Iran has submitted a revised plan to the US that serves as a basis for negotiations on a possible peace agreement.

“Elchi” reports that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced this during a press briefing.

According to her, Tehran has submitted a revised plan that is completely different from the 10-point document previously presented by Iran:

“They have presented a more acceptable, completely different, and concise plan to the President and his team. President Trump and his team have determined that the newly modified plan is a basis for negotiations and for alignment with our own 15-point proposal.”

Leavitt emphasized that Washington will only negotiate with Tehran on the condition that the Strait of Hormuz remains open for shipping.

“The President will only enter into an agreement that is fully in line with the interests of the United States. As long as the strait remains open without restrictions and delays, the negotiating team will focus on this for two weeks,” she said.
