Bahrain has reported that a fire broke out at a facility following an Iranian attack.
elchi reports that in a statement published on the social media account of the US-based X company, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior stated that a fire occurred at the facility as a result of an Iranian attack, that the Civil Defense brought the fire under control, and that there were no casualties.
The Ministry announced that sirens sounded in Bahrain this morning, just hours after a two-week temporary ceasefire was reached between the US and Iran.
No statement has been issued by the Bahraini authorities regarding whether there was a new attack from Iran following the sirens.
The Ministry of Interior’s statement did not provide information on whether the attack that caused the fire occurred before or after the ceasefire.
US President Donald Trump announced that he had agreed to a two-week mutual ceasefire with Iran on the condition that the Strait of Hormuz be fully opened.
