Traffic on the 25-kilometer King Fahd Causeway connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain has been temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure.
“Elchi” reports that the King Fahd Causeway Authority issued a written statement regarding the matter via the social media account of X, a US-based company.
It was stated that the movement of vehicles on the King Fahd Causeway has been suspended as a precautionary measure in recent hours, based on warnings issued by the Eastern Province National Early Warning Platform.
In a statement issued by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense at midnight, it was reported that 11 ballistic missiles were intercepted in the Eastern Province, fragments from 7 of them fell near energy facilities, and damage assessment work is ongoing.
