Iran has rejected a temporary ceasefire with the US.
“Elchi” reports that Reuters has published information about this, citing Iranian officials.
One of the officials said that Tehran has put forward preconditions to start negotiations on a permanent ceasefire with Washington. These include issues such as the immediate cessation of attacks, the provision of guarantees that attacks will not recur, and the payment of compensation.
“Within the framework of a permanent peace agreement, Tehran demands fees from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. These fees will vary depending on the type of ship, its cargo, and existing conditions,” the source added.
