Hungary’s Orbán Called ‘Putin’s Agent’ in the West

Hungary’s former foreign minister Balázs called Orbán “Putin’s agent” in the West.
“Elchi” reports that Hungary’s former foreign minister Peter Balázs claimed that current Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is allegedly Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s agent in the West. His words were quoted by the N-TV channel.
“Putin’s most valuable agent in the West is Viktor Orbán. The Kremlin has no better person to represent Russian interests in the heart of the EU and NATO,” Balázs stated.
Ahead of the elections to be held in Hungary this weekend, the politician declared that “dissatisfaction with the government has never been this strong” and that citizens are allegedly “waiting for a messiah.”
Meanwhile, Viktor Orbán himself called being labeled a “Trojan horse” for Russia and President Vladimir Putin crude and primitive.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Hungarian people “know the Russians and know that the Russians will stay” and will not disappear from European politics. For Budapest, three centers of power are evident: Germany, Russia, and Turkey. Hungary’s security depends on these countries. Therefore, Budapest must find a good solution in all three areas.
Orbán called talking about a “Trojan horse” naive and primitive. He believes it replaces serious arguments for discussing the war.
